I started my career in real estate management. I’ve managed properties such as Campbell Center from 1980 thru 1985. I was a VP in charge of Leasing, Construction projects and Management of more than two million square feet of office, retail and industrial properties, fourteen employees.
- Redevelopment of a high-rise office building. Entailed the demolition of the first and second floors of a 20 story office building to create a 2 story atrium entrance, ($1,900,000).
- Managed the construction of a one hundred sixty unit apartment complex.
After 20 years in Property Management, I decided I enjoyed the construction aspect of real estate much more than Management. That’s when I resigned my position as VP in Property Management and started C&R (Construction/Remodeling LLC)… that was 27 years ago.
